The tiny little Minolta 110 Zoom SLR was a 110 format single-lens reflex (SLR) camera produced by Minolta between 1976 and 1979. It was the first ever SLR camera designed for 110 format, and one of only 3 SLR cameras ever made for 110 film.
Built like no other camera on the planet, it features a rather very unique, futuristic looking design. Despite it's strange design, the camera is actually a joy to use, with incredibly good ergonomics. The camera fits easily into ones hand, and when a neck strap is used, the camera sits flat against your chest, without poking out its lens.
The 110 Zoom SLR features aperture priority autoexposure, CdS light metering with +2 to -2 exposure compensation dial, automatically adjusting film ISO selection and an incredible, 25?50 mm f/4.5 manual focus zoom lens, with macro focusing down to 11 in (280 mm).
Available shutter speeds are 1/1000 second through 10 seconds, with a 1/150 second X-sync speed and support for bulb exposure.
The camera also features a hot shoe on the top allowed an external flash to be attached. It also features a tripod socket.
110 film is readily available, being made in a variety of styles by LOMOGRAPHY. It can be developed at any good camera store.
