The Business Edition Polaroid 600 was released in the early 1980's. Like all 600 cameras, this one features a 116mm single-element plastic lens, fixed focus with a minimal focal length of 4 feet, electronic shutter and a built-in electronic flash.
Marketed for use various businesses, the Business Edition had a few unique features. As well as a built in close up lens, which allowed for focusing down to around 60cm when engaged, the Business Edition also featured a built in tripod socket, a thicker strap (with a little loop for attaching a pen) and a plastic guard at the rear of the eyepiece that prevented dust from getting inside.
It also features written instructions on how to operate it printed on the rear of the camera, making it perfect for weddings and parties where the camera may be used by guests who are not familiar with it.
Before I continue, I must stress: YOU CAN STILL GET FILM FOR THESE CAMERAS! Do not let anyone tell you otherwise!
The Impossible Project is now manufacturing BRAND NEW color and black and white film for these cameras, and it is readily available from Big W, Office Works, Pigeonhole and Camera House.

- PX 680 (600 ISO color film)
- PX 600 (600 ISO black and white film)
